Delacet is a tincture with a watery consistency - this means it can be tricky to apply, especially to thin hair or wriggling children :) That's why we have included a pump action spray bottle for easy application and minimal wastage.

Simply spray the hair generously with Delacet, cover with shower cap for 2 - 3 hours and then wash thoroughly with your favourite shampoo. Detangle with the supplied nit comb to remove any dead lice or nits from the hair.

How much you need to use depends on the volume of hair treated. As a rough guide, please note that 3 small boys with short hair will require one bottle, but a girl with longer or thicker hair will need more solution.Delacet has been formulated to be a single treatment product; however, in case of heavy infestation, repeated application may be beneficial.
